These Terms govern your use of Florish. By using the app you agree to them. Please read the medical disclaimer carefully. Florish is an educational tool, not a medical service.

Medical & Nutritional Disclaimer

Florish provides educational nutrition information and estimates. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or healthcare advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Nutrient values are ESTIMATES derived from AI image recognition and public food databases (USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts). Actual nutrient content varies by preparation, brand, and portion, and identifications may be inaccurate. Do not rely on Florish for clinical decisions.

Food-safety flags are general educational guidance based on public health sources and are not personalized medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider about your individual dietary needs, supplements, and any food-safety concerns during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

In an emergency, contact your doctor or local emergency services. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read in Florish.

Using Florish

You must be at least 18 years old to use Florish. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device.

Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing

Florish offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Pricing, billing period, and any free-trial length are shown on the purchase screen before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. If a free trial is offered, your subscription begins and payment is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, access it through automated means, or use it to violate any law.

Intellectual Property

Florish, its design, and its content are owned by us or our licensors. Food and nutrient data are provided under their respective licenses (USDA: public domain; Open Food Facts: ODbL). You retain ownership of the meal photos and information you provide.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Florish is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made in reliance on the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Florish after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
